, Quaker, "Evangelicals", non-Denominational Protestants, and other Protestants. There are 593 million Protestants in the world; a little fewer than three in ten Christians are Protestants.
The percentages of Protestants in each country were taken from a variety of sources, principally from the US State Department's International Religious Freedom Report 2004. Other sources used were Adherents.com, the CIA Factbook, and others. The population estimates for each country were taken from the US Census Bureau (2005 estimates) unless otherwise cited.
