Aside from its reapproachment with the West, Libya has also been pursuing deeper ties with African states.

The list below includes all Libyan diplomatic missions, i.e. those representing the government of Muammar al-Gaddafi and those representing the NTC. A number of embassies and diplomatic offices in other countries have declared allegiance to the council unilaterally, but it is unclear whether they are in communication with it.
In this list the term "embassy" is used for all embassy-level missions. Diplomatic missions controlled by or loyal to the government of Muammar al-Gaddafi are known as "People's Bureaus".
