History

The airline was established and started operations in 1999. It was formed as a domestic charter airline Brasil Rodo Aéreo by Panexpress Viagens e Turismo and transformed itself into a low-fare airline from March 2006 rebranded as BRA Transportes Aéreos In July 2007 BRA had started a code-share agreement with OceanAir
