  • Week 1 – Night 1: 7 of the 14 couples performed either a Waltz or Cha-Cha-Cha, there was a tie for top of the leader board between Matt & Aliona and Pamela & James both scoring 31/40 in the Cha-Cha-Cha and Waltz respectively. Paul & Ola finished in bottom place with 16/40
  • Week 1 – Night 2: The remaining 7 couples performed again a Waltz or Cha-Cha-Cha, Kara & Artem finished top of the leader board despite a stumble in their Cha-Cha-Cha with 30/40 and a highly anticipated Ann Widdecombe finished bottom with 17/40.
  • Week 2: All 14 couples performed either a Foxtrot or a Salsa, all the scores awarded on the evening were added to those from the previous week, top of the leader board were Pamela & James with 63/80 for both nights, at the bottom were Ann & Anton with 29/80. On 10 October 2010, in the first results show, Peter & Erin and Goldie & Kristina found themselves in the bottom two. It was then announced that Goldie was the first eliminee of Strictly Come Dancing 2010.
  • Week 3: 12 of the 13 remaining couples danced either a Quickstep or a Rumba this week, as Tina O'Brien had caught chicken pox and did not perform on doctor's orders. Pamela & James once again received the highest score of the night, 35, with three nines awarded to them. Paul & Ola only received 16/40 for their Rumba, placing them at the bottom of the leader board with Ann & Anton, who reached 18. Paul & Ola and Michelle & Brendan found themselves in the bottom two, with Paul & Ola eventually leaving the competition for good.
  • Week 4: Michelle danced with Ian Waite this week because Brendan had gone back home to be with his family following the death of his father. Scott & Natalie and Matt & Aliona took top spot equally for their Tango and Charleston respectively, with 35/40. Peter & Erin only scored 17/40 for their Charleston, and were subsequently eliminated. Michelle & Ian joined them in the bottom two.
  • Week 5: This week was a Halloween

     special, and each couple danced either a Jive, an Argentine Tango, a Viennese Waltz or a Paso Doble. Kara and Artem received the first 10 of the series for their Paso Doble but Scott & Natalie received three 10s and the highest score so far, placing them at the top spot. Ann & Anton placed last on the judges' scoreboard again with 16/40, but Tina & Jared were eliminated, despite being 12 points from the bottom. Felicity & Vincent joined them in the bottom two.
  • Week 6: Each couple performed a different dance, all performed in previous weeks. Despite receiving their highest score so far, and finishing fourth on the judges' scoreboard, Jimi & Flavia were eliminated. Michelle & Brendan were once again in the Bottom Two, for the third time this series. Kara & Artem received 36/40 for their salsa, placing them at the top spot on the leader board.
  • Week 7: Kara & Artem received two 10s for their Argentine Tango, but Scott & Natalie received the highest scores of the night with 39/40 for their Jive; an improvement of 11 points from last week's score of 28. Ann & Anton were once again the lowest scoring couple, with 20/40 for their Foxtrot. Michelle & Brendan were second to the bottom with a score of 24/40. After the public vote they and Felicity & Vincent were the bottom two and were then eliminated.
  • Week 8: This week's show was broadcast live from the Blackpool Tower

Matt & Aliona's Samba came top of the leaderboard with 38 points, the highest score for a Samba since series 3; on the contrary, Ann & Anton were at the bottom of the leaderboard, earning only 13 points for their Samba, the lowest recorded score for a Samba on the show. They were able to evade elimination once more, as Felicity & Vincent went home instead, with Patsy & Robin rounding out the other half of the bottom two.
  • Week 9: For the fifth time in a row, Ann & Anton took bottom place on the leaderboard with 14 points out of 40 with a Titanic

  • Week 10: Gavin & Katya made an 11-point improvement over last week's Jive with their Foxtrot. Kara & Artem received two 10s for their Tango and Pamela & James received the first perfect forty of the season for their Viennese Waltz, placing them at the top for the second week running. Ann & Anton received 14 points out of 40 and were finally eliminated after placing last on the leaderboard for seven weeks. Scott & Natalie survived the bottom two for the first time.
  • Week 11: Kara & Artem received their highest scores of the season for their Rumba and Viennese Waltz, both of which received 39 out of 40 and won the Swing Marathon, giving them a top of the leader board finish for the first time since Week 6. Pamela & James received their second perfect 40 of the season for their Quickstep. Gavin & Katya were at the bottom of the judges' leaderboard for the first time this season, and were eliminated along with Scott & Natalie in a double elimination.
  • Week 12: Despite being top of the leaderboard before the vote freeze, and scoring a perfect score for their first dance, Pamela & James were eliminated from the competition finishing in third place. After the phone-lines reopened, Kara & Artem took over at the top of the leaderboard, and upon the lines closing, were announced as the champions, with Matt & Aliona finishing as runners-up.
