Many Australians have expressed their dismay at this change.

In 2011 the channel began to dilute its all-sport format to include adventure-themed reality programming such as Ice Road Truckers

It was confirmed on 4 April 2011 that due to unsupportable overheads associated with running the station as an "all-sport" channel, One HD would begin to air more general entertainment programming alongside sport, particularly shows aimed at a older male audience. In November 2011 OneHD had decided to push the NBL back even further, now airing around 1:00am - 2:00am, alienating a lot of basketball fans. Since then pirated live feeds have appeared online via fan sites such as andthefoul.net . One tried to block such feeds but other feeds have since appeared on the net. Many fans say they will now boycott the channel, turning it into a PR nightmare for the channel.
