Circumferential Road 5, also known as C-5 (or C-5 Road) is a beltway which stretches from Parañaque City
to Valenzuela City
in Metro Manila
, the Philippines
. It is one of five circumferential roads which surround the metropolis, running through the eastern portion of Metro Manila and effectively serving as a reliever road for Circumferential Road 4, better known as Epifanio de los Santos Avenue
(EDSA).
C-5 as a whole is better known by three names: the Taguig-Pasig-Makati portion as Carlos P. Garcia Avenue, the Libis portion as Col. Bonny Serrano Avenue, and the Loyola Heights portion as Katipunan Avenue
. The Pasig portion was formerly known as E. Rodriguez, Jr. Avenue before the F. Manalo Bridge was built in Pasig, connecting it to Quezon City. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority
