The following is a list of currently proposed new stadiums. Stadiums which are currently under construction are not included, and can be found at List of stadiums under construction. The list does not include stadium projects which were proposed in the past but have since been abandoned, or proposed indoor arenas. Proposed entirely new stadiums to be built on the same site as a demolished existing stadium are included, however proposed expansions to existing stadiums are not included. Some of the stadiums in this list might never be built, whilst some will almost certainly be built, and are shortly to begin construction.
