World Cup Plans

The proposed stadium is unlikely to be built if Australia is not selected as a World Cup host, but if the bid is successful it is likely the stadium would host a number of group games as well as a round of sixteen match and possibly a quarter-final. 41,000 would be the stadium's World Cup capacity.

A-League Plans and Post-World Cup

Following the World Cup, the stadium is likely the stadium's capacity would be reduced to 26,000 and the venue would be used to host Sydney Rovers home games either as a full time host stadium or a part time venue.
