SuperJet International (SJI) is a joint venture
between Alenia Aeronautica
(51%) and Sukhoi Holding (49%) to ensure the market success of the new Sukhoi Superjet 100
, an advanced 75-100 seats regional jet
available on the market.
Formed in July 2007 and based in Venice
, SuperJet International is responsible for marketing, sales, customization and delivery of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) regional jet in Europe
, the Americas
plus other markets such as Oceania
, Africa
and Japan
. The Company is also in charge of training and worldwide after-sales support as well as the design and development of VIP, business and cargo variant.
Since its incorporation, SuperJet International has implemented a network consisting of dedicated branches and offices located all over the world. The Company established a branch in Moscow
providing the Russia
n clients with logistical and technical support, and an additional sale-office in Washington D.C. (USA) allowing for growth in the global market. Several more offices will be opened in due course in other major markets.
SuperJet International's mission is promoting and selling the Sukhoi SuperJet 100 in the western markets and supplying Customers with the best after-sales service. SJI rely on the vast experience of its shareholders: Sukhoi Holding, the most renowned Russian Aviation Company, and Alenia Aeronautica, a member of the Finmeccanica Group and heir to the leading expertise in the Italian aviation industry.
Technology and innovation are the keystones of SuperJet International's philosophy. The SSJ100 aims to be a new player on the global market promoting a revival in the air transportation business.
Customer Services
Headquartered in Venice (Italy
), with a branch already established in Moscow (Russian Fed.) and two Representative Offices in Washington D.C. (USA) and Beijing
(Republic of China), SuperJet International Customer Services is responsible for worldwide after-sales support for Sukhoi Superjet 100 Operators.
SJI has selected Lufthansa Technik Logistik GmbH (LTL) as the global logistics provider to manage the Sukhoi Superjet 100 spares distribution centres worldwide. SJI utilizes the new partnership taking advantage of LTL’s facilities based at Frankfurt International Airport, equipped with a brand new fully automated warehouse as well as the use of LTL’s existing worldwide network.
Training
Committed to be a global training provider and made up of a team of International experienced instructors and pilots, the SJI Training Center is developing a flexible portfolio of training services for the new regional jet Sukhoi Superjet 100.
Today, the SJI Training Center provides the support for SSJ100 flight and maintenance training through an ever-growing range of certified courses for:
Flight Crews (Type Rating and Recurrent), Cabin Crews
(Transition and Refresher)and Maintenance and Ground Operations staff.
SJI Training Centre is certified by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as a Flight Training Organization (FTO) and as an approved Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) under EASA PART 147.
Furthermore, Maintenance and Flight Training Organizations certifications issued by ENAC have been endorsed by the Russian Civil Aviation Authority and by the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia to comply with local requirements of SSJ100 launch customers.
