MADC has currently requested for proposals from consultants to conduct techno-economic feasibility studies, assist in obtaining the required statutory approvals and provide project management services. This airport is expected to start by 2011.

This Airport will have two terminals Terminal 1A and 1B. There will be two runways, Runway 1 at north and Runway 2 at south. This airport will have one air traffic control tower (ATC Tower).
