The program also prepares students for certification with the Teacher Development and Certification Branch of Alberta Education.

As Mount Royal begins its 100th anniversary celebrations, there are approximately 12,000 full and part-time credit students enrolled at Mount Royal, plus an additional 5,000 students in the Music Conservatory and over 50,000 individiual non-credit course registrations per year.
