Vecinos is a Mexican TV series adapted in 2005 by actor Eugenio Derbez from Spanish TV series Aquí no hay quien viva. The series portrays the life of everyday people in Mexican barrios, where anything can be found — the jealous housewife, the spinster, the strange family, etc...

The show portrays the same kind of characters, living all together in a building. It was adapted for the mexican audience and ran between 2005 and 2006 on the Televisa network, achieving huge success. Currently shows on reruns.

Same setting and presumably same characters. There aren't updated news on this subject, only that the first season will be composed by 26 episodes of 50 minutes each. It should be filmed very soon.

The script is similar but the actors and the building changes. However, it didn't had a lot of succes as it had in Spain and also because of the schedule problems that Telefé was having and ended up.

The script, the setting and the plots are the same with some little changes though the names of most of characters change, with Colombian actors. RCN bought the rights to make a local adaptation, which began airing on August 25, 2008 but ended on February 27, 2009 despite the success that was having.
