studies at the Gymnasium Roque Gonçalves - currently Marist College Roque - where he completed a technician course in the Accounting (1954). In addition to his early distinctions in the study of Portuguese language

languages (common to be learned in the past). During his student time, he co-founded Gonçalvense Student League, an organization that is still active today. In 1963 he married Ivone Teresinha Almansa. The couple was blessed with two sons: Edward (merchant, born in 1968) and Martha (medical, born in 1971). In 1967, he moved to Porto Alegre
(RS), where he worked as controller for Ernesto Neugebauer chocolate factory . 1968, he joined Ministry of Finance as federal public servant (income tax agent). During two decades of public service, he worked for SERPRO, Brazilian Federal Data Processing Agency. In 1974 he graduated Bachelor of Science in Accounting from reputable Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul
(UFRGS), where he was classmate and graduate of Nelson Sirotsky (CEO of RBS Group, main partner of TV Globo) and also contemporary of President Dilma Roussef. He retired in 1990. At this time of his life he devoted himself to the arts, first music

. In the year 2000, with the birth of her first grandchild - Stephanie - literature begins to take shape. The poem "Ray of Light" remained shelved until, on a visit to the House of the Poets of Rio Grande, where he met Mrs. Santa Inez Soares da Rocha Neiva and forwards a poem as a suggestion.
