Style of play
Prior to his injury back in 2008, Rosický was acknowledged as a world class playmaker. He was renowned for his penetrating runs, creativity and passing accuracy on the pitch which contributed a lot to the team's attacking play. Rosický specializes in using of the outside of his right foot to make quick and swerving passes. He has also scored regularly from long distances with his powerful shots.Since his recovery from the 18-month absence, Rosicky has struggled for form and has not been able to hold down a first team position on a regular basis.
