Salans was founded in Paris in 1978 by Carl Salans, Jeffrey Hertzfeld and Eliane Heilbronn. All three were US-trained attorneys admitted to the Paris bar. Salans and Hertzfeld practice international arbitration while Heilbronn is an international transactional attorney. The name was shortened to Salans in 2002.Clients
