TTR Ranking Score
Each rider´s ranking score is calculated as the:AVERAGE OF THE BEST 8 POSTED RESULTS IN THE CURRENT SEASON. (One of the results can be your season-end bonus points results if one competed in the season prior to the current one. It's also possible to substitute the season-end bonus points with a better result from the current season)
If a rider has less than 8 results:
The total Ranking Points from posted results are added and divided by 8 to generate the TTR World Ranking Score.
If a rider has posted more than 8 results:
The results with the lowest TTR Ranking Points are dropped. The best 8 results are added and divided by 8 to create the riders TTR Ranking Score.
Result Definition
- An independently judged and accredited format at a TTR Tour event.- Combined results do not account for TTR Ranking Points
Note: Not all events with more than one format offer multiple TTR results.
Geographical Reach
The Tour's geographical reach expanded in the 2005/2006 season and until today has reached almost every continent. With more events in the Southern HemisphereSouthern Hemisphere

, Asia, Europe, and North America the Tour has experiences an increased exposure and gives the opportunity for more riders to compete.
2009-2010 Contest Season
As a rider-driven organization, the TTR is trying to best accommodate riders in the extremely busy 2009/2010 Olympic season by reducing the number of required TTR results from seven to six results and providing a schedule that will allow riders to participate on the TTR Tour as well as the Olympics. No other than 2009/10 TTR World Champion and Silver Medalist Peetu Piiroinen has clearly made a statement with his success at events both on and off the Tour. In November 2009, TTR Pro Snowboarding has introduced the first-ever competitive freestyle snowboarding results database to provide a comprehensive reference tool where competition results can be found regardless of what tour or series an individual event may be part of. More on www.snowboardingresults.com.2008-2009 Contest Season
In November 2008, due to the cancellation of three 6Star event formats, the decision had to be made to reduce the number of determining results from eight to seven. Despite the cancellation of three premiere events, the TTR had its most successful season to date with record number of participating riders and building recognition in the mainstream worldwide.2007-2008 Contest Season
Part of the remit of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour is to try to ensure that the standard, and diversity of events represented on the Tour remains consistent, and appropriate to each star level rating. To fulfill this objective, every event wishing to participate must apply for accreditation each year it wants to be included. The 2007/2008 tour has granted accreditation to six 6Star events, eight 5Star events, and nine 4Star events, including the three major Southern HemisphereSouthern Hemisphere
