Natus Vincere is a Ukrainian
multigaming e-Sports organization. It is the first team in Counter-Strike
history to win three major tournaments in one calendar year - Intel Extreme Masters
, Electronic Sports World Cup
and World Cyber Games 2010
. In 2011, Na`Vi.DotA won the $1 million grand prize at The International, the first ever DotA 2 tournament.

On January 31, 2010 “Arbalet UA” won the Arbalet Cup Asia 2010, beating Chinese team Tyloo twice and taking over Forze 16:5 (de_inferno) in the finals.
In February a contest for the best team name was announced. By then, the team performed under the clan tags “Arbalet UA” and “Na`Vi”. Voting took place on hltv.org, where more than 2000 comments were left. Bruno “hArt1k” Estevens from Portugal
was the winner, having proposed the name “Team Vincit”, a derivative of which was the final name “Natus Vincere” (latin – born to win). This let them to leave the tag intact – “Na`Vi”.
in the grand finals of the fourth season of the Intel Extreme Masters: 16:13 (de_train), 16:14 (de_inferno). The first matches of the qualification began in September 2009, when the team was playing with another name (KerchNet) and with other players, of whom only Starix remained.
In April, 2010 a show-match was held in the “Kiev CyberSport Arena” in Kiev
with teams Na`Vi, Fnatic
, SK Gaming
and UNITED competing. Each team played against each other team on five maps. The tournament was held over three game days and the prize of $12,000 went to the Ukrainians from Na`Vi.

in the finals and earning $10,000 in prize money. Na`Vi finally gained victory at ESWC Ukraine.
In the final part of the ESWC, the team hit the highest seeding, along with SK Gaming

and mTw.dk. On July 4, 2010, Natus Vincere achieved the highest accolade in the history of Ukrainian e-Sports, winning the ESWC (which previously couldn't be reached by any CIS team), defeating SK Gaming
in the finals: 16:5 (de_train) and 16:4 (de_inferno). During the tournament Na`Vi passed through the group stage thanks to fortune, but outplayed Fnatic and mTw.dk in the play-offs.
After being victorious in the world championship, Natus Vincere announced their participation in 2 more tournaments – Arbalet Cup Dallas and GameGune 2010 (Bilbao

The next tournament for Na`Vi was ASUS Summer 2010, to which the team received a direct invitation. This tournament became first in the ASUS Open series, which was held in the Kiev
gaming center “Kiev CyberSport Arena”. In the semi-finals Na`Vi lost to Kazakh team k23 and as a result took the 3rd place.
On October 4, 2010 Natus Vincere became the World Cyber Games world champions by defeating Danish team mTw.dk in the finals. This victory made Na`Vi the first team in the world which had managed to hold the three most prestigious championship titles at once (IEM, ESWC, WCG). At the end of October 2010, ESL TV commentator Bakr “KinGSaicx” Fadl proclaimed that SK Gaming
was going to invite the Ukrainian team to take place of its Swedish squad, but the manager of Natus Vincere declined this information.
In early November 2010 Natus Vincere took part in the World e-Sports Masters tournament (WEM 2010), which annually gathers the best teams from all over the world in the Chinese city of Hangzhou
. Among eight participants of the tournament, Na’Vi took 4th place as well as $7,500.

Initially the team included five players, but on Dec. 23, 2010 Andrew “Mag ~” Chipenko and Alexander “Deff-” Stepaniuk left the team. Then the team was joined by Ukrainian players from DTS.Chatrix - Danylo “Dendi” Ishutin and Ivan “Artstyle” Antonov, who became the captain of this new squad.. In August 2011, Na`Vi.DotA was invited to the first DotA 2 tournament at GamesCom, Cologne, Germany. The event named "The International" featured 16 invited top teams from all over the world with impressive amount of prize money - $1 700 000. Na`Vi.DotA was the ultimate winner, beating Chinese team EHOME with 3 to 1 score in the final and grabbing a whooping amount of $1 000 000.
On October, 13th, 2011, Ivan "ArtStyle" Antonov left the team and fifth player is still to be found. Teamleader position has been taken by Clement "Puppey" Ivanov.

Creation of the team
Natus Vincere was founded in December 2009. After the collapse of Ukrainian team KerchNET, the former players of the team were supported by a well-known maecenas and organizer of e-sports tournaments, Murat “Arbalet” Zhumashevich. The new team got the name “Arbalet UA”. It was composed of Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko and Ivan “Edward” Sukharev from KharkivKharkiv

squad was announced, which included the best Ukrainian players. Na`Vi simultaneously declared their intentions to announce a squad for StarCraft 2. Initially the team included five players, but on Dec. 23, 2010 Andrew “Mag ~” Chipenko and Alexander “Deff-” Stepaniuk left the team. Then the team was joined by Ukrainian players from DTS.Chatrix - Danylo “Dendi” Ishutin and Ivan “Artstyle” Antonov, who became the captain of this new squad.. In August 2011, Na`Vi.DotA was invited to the first DotA 2 tournament at GamesCom, Cologne, Germany. The event named "The International" featured 16 invited top teams from all over the world with impressive amount of prize money - $1 700 000. Na`Vi.DotA was the ultimate winner, beating Chinese team EHOME with 3 to 1 score in the final and grabbing a whooping amount of $1 000 000.
