Muslim Charity is a registered charity in the United Kingdom, charity registration number 1078488. The charity was founded in 1999 by Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada and later in 2003 Junaid Jamshed

 joined the organisation. It was established with the key goal of alleviating poverty amongst Muslim communities around the world, with particular focus on Pakistan. The charity has provided emergency aid to thousands of individuals around the world. Muslim Charity also operate a fleet of Ambulances to service the poor and needy people neighbouring its hospitals.

WATER PROJECT

In 2009, Muslim Charity has developed the Safe Water Project. Which was decided to do in three phase. In August 2009, Muslim Charity has laucnhed its Safe Water Campaign to raise $ 1 Million, and targeted to build 50 Deep Water Wells, 300 Water Hand Pumps, 25 Overhead Storage Tanks and 2 Water Reservoirs. By July 2010, Muslim Charity hopes to complete 70 Deep Water Wells, 600 Water Hand Pumps, 25 Overhead Water Storage Tanks and 2 Water Reservoirs.

Muslim Charity has also worked very hard in providing a long term solution to the people in need. Hence, it launched its gyne hospitals project. Swat & Malakand

Following the tragic circumstances of Swat in early 2009 – thousands of IDPs were forced out of their homes. Muslim Charity set up an Emergency Refugee Camp in Sher Garh near Takht Bhai in Mardan

  • A temporary hospital with full Gynaecological, general operation and other medical facilities
  • 24 hour ambulance service
  • Fully trained surgeons, doctors and paramedic staff
  • Food and medical supplies

  • A temporary Masjid
  • Water tanks to provide clean drinking water


Muslim Charity also provided a fleet of free buses to transport the IDPs back to Swat and Malakand when the situation became better.

Through Muslim Charity's Vocational Training Project, sewing machines are provided to needy widows and they are taught the skills of embroidery. This also provides a form of income generation for the widows and their families.

Pakistan and Azad Kashmir Earthquake

Following the Pakistan Earthquake of 2005 Muslim Charity provided urgently needed medical aid and food supplies. For the long-term Muslim Charity built 120 houses in the Pakistan and Azad Kashmir affected areas. A group of 58 houses were built together and the area named as "Al-Karam Village".

The Chairman of Muslim Charity as well as the former President of Azad Kashmir, Sardar Abdul Qayyum, visited the area and officially inaugurated the "Al-Karam Village".

Pakistan Flood

Muslim Charity has launched £2.5 million appeal to help the victims of flood in Pakistan. Muslim Charity targets to benefit 150,000 people through its activities. Muslim Charity is providing food to 100,000 people for the month of Ramadan, clean drinking water to 50,000 people, medical facilities to 20,000 people through its 18 medical camps and shelter to 8,000 people. In its second phase of relief work; Muslim Charity targets to reconstruct 500 house in Pakistan, 10 mosques, 2 schools and 2 medical centers.

Muslim Charity is also building number of villages in Pakistan flood areas.
