The Lancia Ypsilon is a supermini
produced by Italian
automaker Lancia
since 1996. It is the replacement of the Y10, although larger and more expensive. Between 1995 and 2005 Lancia produced, in the Melfi (Potenza) factory, more than 870,000 Ypsilons.

Third generation "Ypsilon" (2011-)
The thid generation of Lancia Ypsilon (Type 846) is based on the Fiat Mini platform and debuted at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car has taken most of its styling from the new Lancia Delta, with many of the higher options fitted as standard. Full production came on line at Fiat factory in Tychy, Poland. Deliveries began in April 2011.The Ypsilon will be sold as a Chrysler in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
