The league exists alongside scaled-down national leagues in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Slovakia. All of SEHA League teams will join their country's own competitions in late spring after the SEHA League regular season and post-season have been completed.
