(Matthew 1:1-13). The text is written in two columns per page, 23-24 lines per page.

The text is divided according to the κεφαλαια (chapters), whose numbers are given at the margin, and the τιτλοι (titles of chapters) at the top of the pages. There is also a division according to the smaller Ammonian Sections (in Mark 234 - 16:9), with references to the Eusebian Canons (written below Ammonian section numbers).

It contains lists of the (lists of contents) before each Gospel, lectionary markings at the margin (for liturgical service), and subscriptions at the end of each Gospel.

It was beautifully written in a clear bold hand. It has breathings and accents, tolerably but not uniformly correct. The manuscript is remarkable free from the errors of itacism

The text of the Pericope Adulterae (John 7:53-8:11) was omitted by original scribe, but was added by later hand at the end of the Gospel of John.

History

Currently it is dated by the INTF to the 11th century.

According to the inscription at the end (apparently in the same hand as John 7:53-8:11), it was once at Constantinople:
