Councilwoman Victoria Fay was accused by her fellow council members during a February 7, 2011, meeting of not residing within the township. Though investigators found that Fay was living in a home in Evesham Township
, Fay said that the arrangements were temporary and that she remained a property owner and legal resident of Medford. Councilwoman Fay left the meeting that night and her seat was declared "vacant" by the remaining council members as a prelude to the council appointing a replacement. A complaint stemming from the February 7 meeting charges that Fay did "cause or attempt to cause bodily injury" to acting Township Manager Stephen Addezio when she allegedly poked him in the chest repeatedly with her finger.
