Sustainability

On April 27, 2010 Apparel Magazine publicly announced Intradeco Apparel as one of its five 2010 Sustainability All Stars. This award is selected by the Apparel editorial staff from nominations by industry executives. The recipients are chosen based upon their having taken significant steps toward incorporating sustainable practices in their businesses. The winners were recognized at Apparel's Tech Conference West at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles , and are profiled in Apparel's June 2010 issue.

In 2007, Walmart named Intradeco as its first ever Supplier of the Year for Sustainability, based on its efforts related to organic products, recycled polyester, the use of biodegradable bags and recycled boxes and its energy efficient initiatives in its buildings and operations. In 2008, Intradeco won the prestigious Walmart Sustainability award once again. The company's ongoing efforts remain focused on creating products that sustain our resources and environment, achieving zero waste and being energy efficient.
