Composing

Gary's musical philosophy is as follows: “My music is what music has always been: song and dance; melody, harmony and rhythm. I completely reject the idea that tonal music had been exhausted or that harmonic progressions are a thing of the past.” Most of Gary’s compositions are written between 1983 and 2002 and include symphonies, opera, concertos, various pieces for chamber music etc.
