CCI filed for bankruptcy in 2002 while still building the New Mexico Rattler at Cliff's Amusement Park. Cliff's was left with a half completed coaster and had to complete the ride themselves. Owner Denise Larrick has since moved on to create a wooden coaster division at S&S Power
