Currently, there are 13 independent amusement parks that are SBNO in The USA.

Kentucky Kingdom, also known as "The Thrill Park," has been SBNO since 11/1/2009, because Six Flags closed it because of the inability to reach a lease agreement with the state fair board and because of bankruptcy. It will continue to be SBNO until Former and Future owner Ed Hart will reopen the park in 2012 or 2013. So, for now, it is SBNO.

At the end of the 2007 season, due to declining attendance, Cedar Fair had closed the amusement park side of the property and kept open the Water park. Most of the rides were transferred to other parks but several remain SBNO. The park is technically SBNO, therefore. Still Cedar Fair is looking at options of redeveloping the land or selling it altogether.
