Disney announced plans for several events and new merchandise to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary in 2007. Despite this, the anniversary passed without event.

In early 2007, Playhouse Disney
was closing its doors to Bear in the Big Blue House in the US, marking the time that it was changing out with newer programs, such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
