The ACE Advisory Group guides the board on strategic matters and provides it with political and industry connections. The group consists of highly positioned individuals from a wide range of backgrounds representing politics, government, education, media, legal and financial institutions, as well as professional and industrial bodies and client interests.

In the first decade of the twenty-first century, there have been major reforms of ACE as an organisation. Extensive consultation with members, clients, government and others has enabled the organisation to redefine and restate its presence. It has also better defined its objectives and how it will achieve them. ACE’s structure supports the core value of promoting the industry by giving a voice to its members.

Sector Interest Groups

ACE sector interest groups were created to establish opinion and policy on various issues including legal, environmental, transport, procurement and best practice issues. They are currently being developed as part of the business plan

ACE’s committees provide operational advice on finance, membership and legal matters whilst specially created task forces will focus on stakeholder and member relations, vision, value and remit and benchmarking and best practice.
