Anthousa is a Greek
village in the municipal unit of Aspropotamos
in the western part of the Trikala Prefecture
, located 65 km west of Kalambaka, west of city of Trikala
, northwest of Larissa
and south of Grevena
. It was known as Lepenitsa (Λεπενίτσα) until the early 20th century. Anthousa had a population of 114 in 2001. It is located by the road linking with Kalambaka and the GR-30

Its main industry are agriculture, and honey production. It also has a rich forest. Anthoussa characterizes as a settlement. It also has a bridge of the Michou near Chalkiotiko (Χαλικιώτικο), the first stream of Acheloos
