In this edition of the Telethon, during the 27 hours, there was a tremendous lack of cooperation by the Chileans. In the final section to 12:25am at the Teatro Teleton a few moments from the final count, Mario Kreutzberger, unveiled a new total, which for him avoided, for the Chileans, a defeat that was seen to be coming: CL$ 2,952,461,927, exceeding the objective of 1992 by CL$ 78,231,230. At about 1:15am, Mario Kreutzberger read the final count: CL$ 3,138,513,916. The objective was exceeded with a difference of $ 264,283,219. The official collection for this campaign was CL$ 3,640,268,169.
