Spring Valley Summit is a mountain pass

It is located in southwestern Boise County
, south of the city of Horseshoe Bend

The summit (web-cam) marks the divide between the Payette River
and Boise River
drainage areas. The new multi-lane grade of the highway into Horseshoe Bend was completed in the late 1980s; the curvier old road is to the west. The local landmark "Bread Loaf Rock" is in the valley between the roads, facing the older routing.
The summit is also known as "Horseshoe Bend Hill."
