The Copa América de Futsal is the main national futsal
competition of the CONMEBOL
nations. It was first held in 1967 and until 1989 was organized by FIFUSA
and was named "South American Futsal Championship". In 2003 the competition changed its name to "Copa América de Futsal".

Asociación Mundial de Fútbol de Salón
The Asociación Mundial de Futsal is the first governing bodies of futsal alongside FIFA. Formed in 2002, it is the successor organisation to the Federación Internacional de Fútbol de Salón which since 1971 was the original governing body for futsal in the world.-History:Futsal...
