Core Values

Saint Jude Catholic School puts emphasis on these values :
  • Excellence
    • According to the official website of the school: "The highest standards of academic excellence are the hallmarks of our educative endeavors. We commit to regularly re-examine and strengthen our academic programs to make them relevant and responsive to learner needs and the changing times. We strive to develop in all members of our academic community, particularly the teachers, the professional competencies expected of them. We endeavor to provide support structures and student development programs that will not only reinforce classroom learning but enable students to thirst for new knowledge and see the value of lifelong learning."
  • Discipline
    • According to the official website of the school: "St. Jude Catholic School promulgates rules and regulations that are needed to govern the behavior of its members. For a school such as SJCS to function effectively, we believe in the need to develop and maintain a healthy school atmosphere conducive to the promotion and preservation of academic freedom and effective teaching and learning. In creating a conducive environment for teaching and learning, norms of conduct expected of members of the academic community should be met. We, likewise, believe that any disciplinary act that inflicts pain or harm upon a child is prejudicial to a person’s development and a form of violence that contradicts the very essence of Christ’s teachings and the school’s philosophy, V-M-G."
  • Commitment
    • According to the official website of the school: "Drawn together by a common vision and mission, we believe in staying true and committed to the ideals of our founder, St. Arnold Janssen and the teachings of the Church. We believe in not compromising our principles and ensuring that we remain dedicated and true to our educational objectives and religious apostolate."
  • Service
    • According to the official website of the school: "The common good of society is at the heart of education at St. Jude Catholic School. We believe that personal growth is meaningful only in the context of unselfish service not only to members of the academic community but to others as well. We commit to service not only that uplifts the human person’s quality of life especially the less fortunate and underprivileged but also one that aims to build Christian communities. We will ensure that our service ethics manifest a strong sense of responsibility, accountability, efficiency and professionalism."
  • Christ-Centeredness
    • According to the official website of the school: "St. Jude Catholic School envisions an education that will develop in its students a consciousness of the presence of the Triune God in their journey towards self-realization, in their commitments and social responsibilities and their mission as builders of life-promoting communities. We believe in the power of prayer and Christian service as means in living/practicing the gospel values. With Christ as the center of our lives, we will be able to achieve the total transformation of authentically Christian persons imbued with moral and Christian values"

As an educational institution striving for greatness, Saint Jude Catholic School requires its students, teachers and personnel to have these values.

This school welcomes enrollment from other Christian denominations and other non-Christian sects open to understanding Catholic education.
