Goodall would go on to compete against Steve Rogers of PEI on May 7, 2011 for the Elite 1 lightweight title. Although Goodall missed weight by 2 lbs he still went on to win via rear naked choke. Rogers would dispute the win claiming a controversial low blow which resulted in the fight being deemed a no contest. Rogers would retire shortly after making a rematch unlikely.

On May 27, 2011 Goodall promoted a second MMA event under his company name East Coast Fight Productions called "ECFP II: Resurgence." With two weeks left until the event, Goodall's main attraction Jaret MacIntosh would drop off the card due to illness, forcing Goodall to step in and compete while promoting at the same time. Goodall would face PEI's Lenny Wheeler, stopping him in the first round via TKO due to strikes. Goodall's next bout is scheduled for September 24, 2011 on Extreme Cage Combat 13 for their vacant lightweight title.
