TIMBER TRAIL "PADDLING IN AIR":Transporting goods to and from an elevated height is a basic requirement in hilly regions. Not just at elevated heights, but at times transportation of horticulture produce and other essential goods across the valleys and rivers is essential in higher Himalayan regions. Timber trail as the name suggests is a mode of transport of goods. It is basically a ropeway which is a popular and cheap mode of transportation of goods in hilly areas using motors as drive.
In the exhibition, the electric motor was completely replaced by a complete mechanical driver so that the electricity constraint was detached which made it a better option to be used in rural areas where electricity is still a problem.
MOTORAMA:It was a mini auto expo, which went a step ahead and included vehicle stripping.
Participant Companies: TATA, Hero Honda.

Past workshops at Nimbus

CATIA V5:Nimbus 2010 in association with CADD-CENTRE Hamirpur organized a 20 hour workshop on CATIA V5 from 20 to 26 February. The workshop was followed by a competition called C.A.D. based on CATIA during NIMBUS.
CIRCUIT DESIGNING:This workshop covered everything necessary for the continued understanding of the much more advanced topics presented these days in various circuits and systems in use in the industry.
All those dealing with electronic circuit designs and development require knowledge of basic electronic components. In this workshop they were made familiar with commonly used active and passive electronic components and then made to work on circuit designing using the knowledge of components.

Students were taught the use of basic building blocks of electronic circuits using sensors, 555 timers, op-amp and other commonly used circuits in making projects.
PHOTOGRAPHY:It was a workshop which had in it all about Photography, camera, images and digital implications. A special interest of the participants was built towards Portrait, Landscape and Architecture. An eminent speaker and instructor was available to answer questions during this two day workshop.
WEB TECHNOLOGIES AND WEB CMS JOOMLA:The main aim of the workshop was to make participants understand all about Latest Web Technologies and Web Content Management System (CMS) with Joomla implementation and to begin managing their own website like a professional. Participants were provided with instructions to build and manage their own new Joomla website. A live speaker and instructor was available to answer questions during this two day workshop.
ETHICAL HACKING:For the First Time in India, Innobuzz Knowledge Solutions in association with APOGEE, BITS Pilnai organized a workshop on Information Security and Ethical Hacking. This workshop was designed to provide the students with knowledge on the basic as well as advanced topics of ethical hacking and information security
