For those service members who performed military duty during the Berlin Airlift, the Airlift Device
is authorized as a device to the Navy Occupation Service Medal.
, however those service members who had received the Korean Service Medal
could not be awarded both the Occupation Medal and Korean Service Medal for the same period of service.
