to the year 1039. It has complex contents, with full marginalia

s on 214 parchment leaves (size ). The text is written in one column per page, in 19 lines per page. The text of Matthew 7:12-8:4 on folios 15-16 was added by a later hand.
The text is divided according to the κεφαλαια (chapters), whose numbers are given at the margin, and the τιτλοι (titles of chapters) at the top of the pages. There is also a division according to the Ammonian Sections (in Mark 237 - 16:15), with references to the Eusebian Canons (written below Ammonian Section numbers).
It contains the Epistula ad Carpianum
, Eusebian Canon tables, tables of the (tables of contents) before each Gospel, lectionary markings at the margin (for liturgical use), subscriptions at the end of each book, numbers of στιχοι
, and pictures.
The Synaxarion and Menologion were added by a later hand. It has the famous Jerusalem Colophon
