The codex contains a complete text of the four Gospel

s on 237 parchment leaves (size ). The text is written in one column per page, 23 lines per page (size of text ). The capital letters in red, the large initial letters in gold.

The text is divided according to the κεφαλαια (chapters), whose numbers are given at the margin, and their τιτλοι (titles) at the top of the pages. There is also a division according to the smaller Ammonian Sections (in Mark 236 - 16:12), (no references to the Eusebian Canons).

It contains prolegomena, tables of the (tables of contents) before each Gospel, lectionary markings at the margin (for liturgical use), subscriptions at the end of each Gospel, numbers of stichoi, and pictures.
