of Minsk. The airport began operations in July 1982; the existing terminal was opened on 28 March 1989 and replaced the old Minsk-1
airport in the south of the city (now it is in the city's center) as international airport. Minsk-1 Airport has no passenger services since Feb 2011.

The airport, which is capable of accommodating 5.8 million passengers a year, served more than 1 million passengers in 2009.
/Bus #300, departing from Centralny and Moskovskii bus stations, every 30 minutes. The journey takes from 1h 20min. to about 1h 40min. The route is starting at 04:15 until 01:00 daily.
A taxi will cost about $20–$40 and the journey will take around 40 minutes .
Private charter buses (4 to 7 passenger seats) are also available for about $100.
