. It serves under the umbrella of the Embassy of Malaysia in Amman
, Jordan. MSD Jordan is an agency established to specialize in providing various services for the Malaysian students in Jordan and Syria
including welfare, facilities, educational consultancy, guidance and also information and guidelines for local students who are going to further their studies in Malaysia.

Currently, Malaysian Student Department is operating on its own from a rented building which is located in Sweifieh

MSD Objectives
MSD Jordan was established to achieve and provides a high quality of services and guidance for Malaysian students who are studying in Jordan as well as local students who are interested to study in Malaysia. Therefore; MSD Jordan has the following objectives to be accomplished:
Functions
The MSD Jordan is committed to:
villa located in Sweifieh, Amman. Ground and first floor of the building consists of Management and Administrative rooms, Meeting Room, Guest Hall, Student Hall, Mini Library and a Kitchen. A room specialized for Promotion Unit has been set up to cater the needs of locals students inquiring about studying in Malaysia.
Student Council
Executive Room, Washing Area, Bedroom and Praying Hall is situated at basement level of the building. The level serve as an activities area for Malaysian students in Jordan.
A number of in house games and equipments such as table tennis
, television
, computer
and a treadmill
is also provided for the students. Other equipments such as badminton
racket, soccer ball, sepak takraw
, volleyball
and netball
can be borrowed from the office. Students can also enjoy free Wi-Fi
facility within the building vicinity.
The outside area of the building within the same compound provides parking area and a mini gardens of flowers, grapes, apples, peaches and oranges trees.
Part of MSD Jordan's roles is to build the collaboration
between universities of Malaysia and Jordan in G2G
environment. This enhanced the area of scientific research, education, higher learning and exchange of idea as well as students. List of universities that has been accredited

To date there are 769 Malaysian students throughout Jordan and 519 in Syria, studying in various universities, fields and levels. Major courses taken are Medicine, Dentistry, Arabic Language and Islamic Study.
Malaysian Student Department Jordan also act as an umbrella for Malaysian Students Council, Malaysian Students Zone Societies and Malaysian States Students Welfare Body, both in Jordan and Syria.

- Encourage and guide the students on the right track, in line with nation’s aspirations.

- Enhance MSD Jordan management system from time to time, to ensure fast services and compatible with current situation.
