The Drift Creek bridge housing included flared board-and-batten siding, arched portals, ribbon daylighting and wooden flooring. Lincoln County maintained the bridge as a historical exhibit-in-place since 1965. Because of severe structural problems, the bridge was dismantled and removed from its original location in the fall of 1997.
