José Oscar "Turu" Flores (born 16 May 1971 in Buenos Aires
) is a retired Argentine
footballer who played as a striker, and the current assistant manager at Vélez Sársfield
.
He started his professional career with Vélez Sársfield in his native country, winning seven titles during the club's successful 1990s era. He then spent the following eight years in Spain
- 194 league games and 61 goals in both major levels
, namely with Deportivo de La Coruña
- and also played twice for the Argentine national team
