The injury to I Want Revenge was the subject of a lawsuit by his part-owner IEAH Stables against David Lanzman, whom they accused of not informing them about the injury when they purchased a share in the horse.

After a lay-off of over a year, he returned to racing on July 3, 2010 to finish third in the Suburban Handicap
