Hits 60
Encyclopedia
Hits 60 is a compilation album released in the United Kingdom on 15 November 2004. The album contains 61 tracks on three discs. Despite containing 61 tracks, the album cover advertises the album has having 60 tracks.

The album was the first three-disc album in the Hits compilation album series. After the success of using two-disc albums, Hits decided to use the three-disc theme in a possibilty to outsell the rival album Now 59, however Now 59 sold better, with Hits 60 behind the UK Compilations Chart at #5 (Now 59 was at #1). Thus, the numbering system for the BMG was stopped and the series was continued with Red Hot Hits the following March.
