. Since his father worked for the Indian Army, Gurmeet moved several times. He was mainly brought up in Jabalpur, Madhyapradesh. During his school days, he was involved in conceptualizing and acting in plays. While his brother chose to enter the medical profession, Gurmeet decided to become an actor. Gurmeet Choudhary also did modeling in his early days and having won the title of ‘Mr.Jabalpur’, he participated in a “Mr. India” contest.
