Famous Duhans

Balbir Singh Duhan(ex-chairman) is from Bahbalpur (Jind),Katwal (Sonipat),,and now he is also president of whole duhan community in haryana.
Yogender Chaudhry is from the Duhan gotra, and belongs to the Indian Revenue Service 1989 batch. He is from Seharmalpur near Samalkha in Panipat. In 2009, he was given the Sardar Patel award for his work in promoting village youth leaders all across India. He has served in various positions in Income tax department, Narcotics Control Bureau, Ministry of Urban Development, and as Executive Director of Nehru Yuva kendra Sangathan (NYKS). The other famous Jat from Duhan gotra are Mr. Manoj Duhan and Dr. Rakesh Kumar Duhan, both belong to Jassia village in Rohtak District. Manoj is a writer and has written two books on caste politics in north India. His first book was dedicated to the Jat-Dalit fraternity. In this book he established a theory that to take the helm of this India, Jats should make fraternity with Dalits. Dr. Rakesh is a researcher from Delhi University who is working on molecular pathways in breast cancer and having few national and international publications.

Karnal Singh is an IPS officer of AGMU Cadre(1984) who is presently posted as Addl Director General of Police in Mizoram.He is resident of Shahdara, Delhi.He did his graduation from Delhi College of Engg and post graduation from IIT Kanpur.
