Dave Scott is an American hip-hop dance teacher, choreographer, and talent developer. He gained widespread success from his choreography in movies primarily the 2004 dance film You Got Served
. He has since expanded to choreographing for television and teaching at dance conventions. In 2004, Scott won an American Choreography Award for You Got Served. He also won a Fred & Adele Astaire Award in 2008 for Step Up 2: The Streets. He describes his style as aggressive, melodic, and energetic. He is currently represented by McDonald Selznick Associates.
