Personal life

On 1 September 1970 (his 24th birthday), he married the former Miss Edinburgh, Linda Gray. They have five children, Stephen (b. 1973), Ashley (b. 1977), Travis (b. 1981), Michael (b. 1984) and Alexandra (b. 1991).

In 1994, Barry Gibb, along with brothers Robin and Maurice, was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and in 1997 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
