Her science fiction career has also expanded into television, with prominent roles in miniseries adaptations of Dinotopia
and Frank Herbert's Children of Dune.
In April 2004, Krige was awarded an honorary Litt.D. degree from Rhodes University

It was announced in 2011 that Krige would appear in the 10th and last ever Series of the BBC Spy Drama, Spooks.
She played Elena Gavrik, the wife of a former KGB agent and now Russian Minister Ilya Gavrik (Played by Jonathan Hyde). Elena is also an old flame of Section D leader Sir Harry Pearce (Peter Firth)and plays a major role throughout the series as well as a pivitol role in the Season finale.
