range in the northeastern Serres
and the westernmost Drama
prefecture
s in Greece
. Its peaks stand over 1,849 m. Other mountaintops elevates at 1,667 m (south), 1,653 m (northeast), 1.420 m (east), 1,377 m (west), 1264 m (northwest) and 1,012 m (north).

Xiropotamos

trees, the valley areas, grasslands, bushes and unvegetated portions dominate the higher elevations. The area around the mountain contains villages and forest roads as well as hiking trails and the Lailias skiing resord, two poor roads connects the other side of the ranges. The mountaintop is to the northeast.

and its surrounding mountain ranges including Angistri to the north along with some Bulgarian mountains, Orvilos to the north, Falakro
to the east, Menoikio or Menikioto the south and some distant mnountains of Pangaio
to the southeast, Kerdyli and Vertiskos
to the south, Mavrovouni to the west and southwest and Kerkini to the northwest. Vrontous almost blocks the view of the Aegean Sea
by the neighbouring mountains of Pangaio and Kerdyli. Lake Kerkini
has been seen since its construction in the 1970s.
